Alan B. Weisenfeld
Alan B. Weisenfeld is a software sales executive at IBM. As a member of IBM Software Group’s Dealmaker team, Mr. Weisenfeld acts the lead negotiator for many of the company’s largest global software deals. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Weisenfeld was a Managing Director at Genesis Capital, a consulting and venture capital firm located in New York City which uses its proprietary consulting and portfolio management model to drive the profitability of its portfolio companies and increase shareholder value.
Mr. Weisenfeld has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from The Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Genesis Capital, Mr. Weisenfeld was a consultant at Bain & Company, one of the World’s leading strategy consulting firms. Before attending Harvard Business School, Mr. Weisenfeld was an Experienced Senior Consultant and Senior Project Team Leader at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in the Financial Services Division of the Management Information Systems (MIS) practice.
Mr. Weisenfeld serves on the board of directors of several companies, including Griffin Capital Partners, a real estate investment corporation in Bridgeport, CT., and The Brittany Group, a consulting and investment firm. He also is very active in the Westchester, NY community.
