Rev. Jeffery L. Smith

Rev. Jeffery Smith is the third child of Rev. Dr. J. C. and Mrs. Willie Mae Smith. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, but considers Chicago home. Rev. Smith received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He is currently an Associate Minister under the pastorate of his father at Bethlehem Temple Missionary Baptist Church. He is active in the Music Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Youth & Young Adult Ministries, and Sunday School. He also does numerous workshops to inspire the people of GOD to grow and mature in Christian service.

Rev. Smith also served as Interim Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church of Antioch, California and as Evangelism Minister at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Cecil Ferrell.

Professionally, Rev. Smith currently serves as Associate Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion for Procter & Gamble. In this role he has responsibility for leading the Global and North America Diversity operations. This includes strategic planning & direction along with oversight for all of the Global and North America Diversity initiatives. He has been with Procter & Gamble for 22 years. He has been recognized in Sales and in HR for delivering breakthrough results. During his P&G career, he has developed expertise, and is sought to lead, in Diversity, Team Effectiveness, Organization Assessment & Design; Change Management; Talent Development; and Leadership Development. He has trained and developed P&G employees in Western Europe, Latin America, North America, and Asia.

Rev. Smith resides in the South Suburbs of Chicago with his wife of 22 years, Heather. They have four children Austin, Amber, Avery, and Amaris.
