Susan M. Ifill
Susan M. Ifill served as the interim Finance Director for the Women’s Environment & Development Organization (WIBO) until accepting her current role as Chief Operating Officer for Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City. She most recently was the Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer for Carver Federal Savings Bank from 2007 to 2009. Her responsibilities included the branch and ATM network, Branch Operations, Marketing, General Services and Facilities, Training and the Customer Service Center.
Prior to that role, Susan spent 28 years at Bank of America, retiring in 2006. In her last role as SVP and Premier Banking Market Manager, she led a group of Client Managers in the Premier Banking & Investment Division of Bank of America, responsible for the growth of a $3 billion portfolio and new client acquisition for Hudson & Essex County in New Jersey. Susan held numerous senior management roles, including Director of the Trust Advisory Group and the Client Distribution Group, in the Private Bank, Director of Employee Banking Services, Senior Business Partner in Corporate Learning & Development, and various management roles the Retail Banking Division.
Susan serves on the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Finance Committee for Cambridge College in Boston, Treasurer of the National Give Back for Kids Campaign, and Secretary of the Executive Women’s Golf Association of Northern New Jersey. She also volunteers as a Discussion Leader for the Workshops in Business Opportunities Program (WIBO), and mentor for the Girls Going Places Conference.
Susan did her undergraduate work at Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth). She received her Masters in Management and certification in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Cambridge College.
Susan resides in West Orange, New Jersey. She has two daughters, Nicole and Monique.
