Since our founding in 2009, the National Give Back for Kids Campaign has grown from a local initiative into a nationally recognized nonprofit organization. Here are the key milestones in our journey.
June 2, 2009, the National Give Back for Kids Campaign, Inc. was incorporated in N.Y. The organization was founded by Hosea James Givan II with a vision to inspire communities to give back to children.
Our organization was granted 501c3 tax exempt status from IRS. This milestone allowed us to formally accept tax-deductible donations and expand our reach.
We went on a national 12-city tour celebrating the spirit of giving back. The tour brought our message to communities across the country and inspired thousands of volunteers.
Community Engagement Symposium and Telethon brought organization to new heights. The event raised significant awareness and resources for our programs.
We launched a weekly cable show on BronxNet titled, 'IGNITE! EMPOWER! TRANSFORM!' The show featured community leaders, youth advocates, and inspiring stories of giving back.
